Your Responsibilities

Do you want to help create world-class superstructures and trailers for heavy vehicles? We are currently looking for staff for our client PLS Truck Bodies in Rydaholm. We are looking for individuals who have an interest, practical skills, and a good work ethic.

As an assembler at PLS, you will work in our production alongside other team members. Our cabinet and trailer constructions are customized to each customer's order, which means that the work rarely has a "conveyor belt character." This means that you, as an assembler, need to be attentive and have the ability to understand what you are doing in each work step and adapt accordingly. Even though we work together, it is important that you can confidently perform tasks on your own and are not afraid to ask if there is something you do not understand or believe is wrong.

Your Profile

We are looking for assemblers for several departments at PLS. If you have completed a construction or automotive program, this could be an opportunity for you! Likewise, if you have worked as a carpenter, repaired cars, or similar. You need to have knowledge of reading blueprints, preferably from a manufacturing industry. We may also be interested in those who are eager to learn and have the right attitude and a long-term vision regarding a position at PLS.

It is important that you have practical skills, can maintain focus on multiple tasks throughout the workday, and have a positive and good attitude towards work and are not afraid to pitch in. If you have experience and/or education or vocational experience in mechanical engineering or automotive electronics, that is a bonus. We are looking for individuals who see opportunities and believe that problems are meant to be solved, and that this is best done together!

With us, you will be part of a team with different ages and experiences, both men and women. We would like to find someone who has the ambition to stay and grow with us at PLS for a long time to come. It is important that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

At PLS, we currently have colleagues from Ljungby, Växjö, Rydaholm, and Värnamo. So there is an opportunity for carpooling. The position is a permanent full-time employment, with a 6-month probationary period initially. Working hours are scheduled during the day. There may be opportunities for night shifts for the right person in the future, but as a new employee, you will always start on the day shift to learn all work steps and have access to experienced supervision.

Before you apply, it is important that you check that you can get to and from our facility in Rydaholm. Regional transport options are available, but unfortunately, not all routes match our shift times.
